Early Morning

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We are about to head out to our various family dinners today BUT first I must share with you that Leo is all ready for Black Friday with his Mommy! He has already been looking at the adds and is ready to go right after his 2 am feeding. We will see what the sales will bring!

Leo is officially crawling like a big boy! He has been itching to do it for over a month now stretching all over the place to get the objects he wants. He finally figured out how to move once he gets on his hands and knees and is now moving all over the place! Time for baby gates...

A Year Ago....

Mike and I were on our honeymoon babymoon in Chicago! I was just looking at pictures since I got Leo to sleep.We had such a great time and oh how I want to go back! I loved everything about that trip. We took the train and then mainly walked everywhere enjoying on the sites. Leo was the size of a small fruit in my belly awe! I can't wait until we take another vacation, until then I will just reminisce looking at pictures.

Leo love's these things! He really can't go anywhere without them. He has tried most of the flavors and his favorite so far are the peach mango, he just gobbles them up! Now if he could just get some teeth to munch on them!

He is always such a big helper that or he is just obsessed with begging for food Whenever I am switching out laundry and it doesn't matter what time of day he decides to run down the stairs with me several times having my life flash in front of my eyes because it is his mission to trip me  He jumps up to the washer walking back and forth purring and meowing rubbing his face on my arm begging for food which is always laid out for him not two feet away from the washer one of these days he is going to be accidently shut in the dryer and come out with a new hair do

Jenkins is also a big fan of laying around Leo at snack times gotta love puffs! Surprisingly Jenkins is very good with Leo and has never been close to hurting him. They have become quite the pair and love their snack time!

A Marriage Celebration!

Oh my goodness this month is going by so fast! This past weekend two of our good friends Kyle and Lauren celebrated their wedding and we were lucky enough to join in on the occasion. The wedding was absolutely beautiful! Leo joined for part of the reception and was showing off in his vest and pant suit. My mom took care of Leo for most of the day/evening and so far this was the longest amount of time I have ever been away from him big step! It felt so nice to have some adult time and also some real time with Mike to enjoy being a married  couple instead of being a Daddy and a Mommy for awhile. I love being with Leo but it was so nice to spend time with friends have a few drinks and slow dance with my husband! We were lucky enough to stay out until 10pm way past Leo's bed time  He was determined to stay awake so that I could put him to sleep and he won. Little Man just isn't ready to be put to bed by anyone else without putting up a fight.

Poor Baby

Well this morning we were woke up by little Leo around 6 am. The poor baby for the first time was really sick. He unfortunately couldn't hold anything down this was very scary for me because he has never thrown up before so after a few hours I decided even though he wasn't running a temp I would still take him to the doctor. New mommy syndrome i know. We arrive at our doctor's office to have to wait just a few minutes well a few minutes too long for Leo He threw up ALL over the place. I felt so bad for him :(  So after the doctor's exam we concluded he had no temp, not an ear infection, so far not dehydrated so we spent the day at home just sippin' on pedialyte until all the vomiting was out of his system. He is feeling much better and finally is asleep on his own. For most the day he did sleep but only if he was in my arms! We did have a jam packed weekend with many adventures but those tales will have to wait until tomorrow! I am going to try to catch some sleep before Leo decides its time to come into mommy and daddy's bed for the night.

I haven't been able to catch it on video yet but Leo has been saying "dada" for about a week now! of course he has no idea that is what he is saying but word association will come later! It figures that he said dada first first when for hours every day i say "mama-mama-mama" to him can you sense by sarcasm?? 

Last week we had lunch with Mike's cousin Katie and her son connor. Leo is becoming such a pro at eating out! He loves sitting in highchairs and just playing with the menu after I sanitize it of course. We have started giving him pieces of food  or his puffs to munch on so the eating out experience isn't so bad for him now that he actually gets to join in!

My parents celebrated  my birthday a week early and we all had dinner together. Homemade pizza's one of my favorite's! I love preparing meals so I didn't even mind cooking my own birthday dinner, it was yummy! Leo had to help me open my gifts he really just loved the tissue paper. I can't believe I am 25!

Just a few things...

So Leo has started pulling himself up in his crib! We will have to lower the mattress now, which means Mama is going to need a step stool to get Leo in and out. LOL what can I say I'm short. Here a few pictures of the last couple days.

The other night we had a dinner/get together with Mike's brothers. I just love when we all spend time together. The kids are so cute playing together and I just enjoy that Leo already has so many cousins to play with! Mike's brother Tim already has two little ones Isabella (4) and Max (2) they are expecting a 3rd in just a few short weeks..Name Unknown! But Baby Walsh is a little boy and we are so excited to meet him over Thanksgiving. Three Walsh boys in the same year, how fun! When they all get older I will either be wanting to pull my hair out because they get in so much trouble together or beside myself on how cute they all are. Most likely a little of both.

Last Saturday My parents, sister, Mike, Leo and I all went and had family pictures taken. Usually I would have taken the time to arrange a time for me to do them with my camera but schedules were tight and we wanted to get them done! They turned out great in my opinion! Next all we need are outdoor family pictures and I will have some excellent framers! Here are a few...LEO IS SO CUTE just thought I would tell you that beforehand.
