Sleep Issues

Leo is teething, or that is what I am telling myself. He has been going to sleep like normal but wakes up about 4 hours into just screaming like a lunatic. I calm him down Tylenol and Orajel are amazing and most of the time he makes it through the rest of the night, 5 am that is where I still give him a bottle. The doctor says that is a bad habit we need to break but a 5 am feeding isn't that bad if he hasn't had a bottle since 8pm right? I hope First time motherhood is confusing sometimes, They tell he should be sleeping 11 hours straight at this point. That will happen eventually right? lol Well I still love him and he so adorable when he sleeps. Even if it is only 4 hours at a time.

All the Small Things

We have been spending alot of time at home lately because of the cold winter weather! The time at home makes me see all the little things Leo loves to do. When I am cooking, doing the dishes or just simply washing my hands he just loves to pull up my leg sometimes with very chilly hands I might add! and look up at me and just go "babababa or nananana" as loud as possible, I think he is trying to tell me that he would appreciate if I would just pay attention to him instead of the list of daily chores. So to distract him I would occasionally give him random kitchen gadgets to occupy him. His favorite is this Kitchen aide funnel! As Mike puts it it is really just a huge pacifier lol.

Another fascination of the little baby boy is my photo books on our bookshelves. I didn't think he would attempt to pull these heavy books off but boy does he! Every day he feels the need to pull them all off the shelf and look through the pages. I am convinced he just likes looking at pictures of himself.

I simply can't believe he is 10 months old! *tear* He is on the move all the time, getting into everything and putting EVERYTHING in his mouth. I also just started my second trimester with baby #2 and I am so excited! I love this time of pregnancy. I start to show, we will find out the gender and I will somewhat get my energy back!! hopefully Leo has defiantly been keeping me on my toes in this pregnancy but overall he has been such a good baby. He loves to play with his toys and sometimes a simple car ride or walk around the neighborhood will keep him happy for hours. I feel so blessed  I get to spend everyday with my baby boy and that this second pregnancy is going so well.

Spring is around the corner and I am looking forward to the sunshine. As productive has Leo and I are at home, I feel pretty pathetic when we don't leave the house all day and I stay in my pj's well into the afternoon.   Leo doesn't mind though, he loves spending the day in the nothing but his diaper.

Soooo Over Baby Food

Leo is almost 10 months old I know I can't believe it either! but I have been trying to get him more interested in table foods so that getting him off the bottle will be easier or so I hope Well of course he still loves his bottle but he is so over being fed! jarred baby food is old news with Mr. Leo, all he wants to do is feed himself!

My Little Snow Angel

January is the month for snow! I remember last year while I was pregnant I thought "I can't wait until Leo is here for this!" and  he loves it! I was actually very surprised when I put him down in the snow and he was overwhelmed with excitement. He didn't even cry! The winter has made Leo and I have a bit of cabin fever so it was nice to see him enjoy the weather so much.

We are so proud of her, she did a fantastic job! Leo has really enjoyed the fame from being related to a real celebrity. She has a busy year ahead of her and we wish her the best of Luck!

Next Time Mike Works Late....

I am not watching a Nicholas Sparks movie ...

Last night I sat down to watch "The Last Song" now I love Nicholas Sparks movies but I have been debating about this one because  I can't stand Miley Cyrus but I pushed that aside because they always end up such good movies! Good movie...yes...Good movie to watch alone with your sleeping baby...no

I end up bawling every time! The big lump in your throat have to get a drink of water kind, ridiculous! So the next time Mike has to work until midnight I am getting a comedy for sure.
