100 degree days

100 degree weather is the best isn't it!? Especially if you are 9 months pregnant, I really think it is my favorite! LOL I am actually surprised with how well I am doing in the heat. I haven't had any pregnancy complications and Leo doesn't seem too bored for the amount of time we are spending inside. He spends his days playing around in his diaper and enjoyed his last days of being a single child. ( He has no idea that is changing soon) I am sure he will adjust just fine though. He is such a cuddly baby and wanting to give hugs so I hope that transfers over to his new little sister!

Texting away just like his Mommy and Daddy

So many toys so little time!

Cuddle time with Jenkins!
Leo loves to swim! Mike has actually showed him how to "dive" off into his arms. He thinks its so much fun! He doesn't really understand the kicking of the legs but he sure does love to splash, its like a big bath tub to him!

A thing I am glad to scratch off my list of things to do is preparing Leo's fall/winter clothes! a couple weeks ago Kid to Kid was having an awesome sale and I pretty much wiped them out of all the 18 month clothing. They are all washed and hung up waiting for Mr. Leo to wear them once this weather cools down...which it will right!?

Ready for his fashion show
A funny thing Leo has started is playing peek a boo when we fill up the car with gas, He thinks it's so funny and he just laughs! Much better than when he was a little baby and would scream his lungs out because the car stopped.

playing peek a boo with the curtain...

and also with the door...He just loves that game!
Happy Sunday!

Turner Falls

We had a mini family vacation last week, we drove down to Oklahoma City and then on to this place called Turner Falls, it was awesome! It has this waterfall along with camping grounds and a water park built into the creek with slides and diving boards. Leo had a blast! Steve and Amanda were our traveling buddies along with Brenden and we met up with Amanda's brother Steven and their friend Stephanie. The heat was outrageous but as long as we were in the water everyone seemed happy. It is defiantly a place I would go back next year and when the kids are older so they can enjoy the slides and stuff too!

A fun night in the hotel

Waterfall!

Couple Picture, we don't get those very often anymore!

15 Month Doctor's Appointment

A little late on the update but Leo went in for his booster shot on the 7th of July. He is doing very well in his health! We have been so blessed that he hasn't had any major infections or sicknesses. He was a busy little boy at the office though, getting into everything that he could find and helping the nurse input his information in the computer.

Summer: American Style

Forgive me on my lack of blogging! What a busy month we have been having. Leo is picking up many new traits lately! He tries to put his shoes on himself, he can high five, show you where is eyes and belly button are!  Dipping his food in ranch, ketchup or BBQ sauce is also a new joy of Leo's and his favorite candy right now are those dum dum suckers, he just loves them.

yum ranch!

Matching with Grandpa while having Steak for the first time
We also celebrated the 4th of July in very typical American way. We watched fireworks, ate hamburgers and hot dogs and enjoyed time swimming, could we get any more original!? Leo had fun though, He loved the fireworks! I was a little weary because all of his cousins are afraid of them but surprisingly enough there were no cries or meltdowns just a toddler in awe. I hope it stays that way next year!

Leo did not want anything to do with this picture

He clapped a little but mainly ate his cheezeits while watching the fireworks

He even ventured out on his own for awhile

How cute
We had fireworks for the older kids and Leo decided he needed to help

A Shower for Lily

Last Sunday We had a small little shower for Lily! I made cupcakes that looked liked ice cream cones for the first time and they turned out really yummy! It was a fun simple little party at my house and of course it was fun to see everyone!

cupcakes!

Having fun outside of the party

We had fun with all the pink

Heat Wave

The Summer I decide to be pregnant the weather decides it needs to be over 100 degrees everyday! Overall I have been doing ok physically no upsets with Lily or anything, it just puts a damper on my self image to be sweating and so hot all the time! Leo doesn't seem to mind though. He loves going to the pool (or playing in his kiddy pool in the yard) but he does not like the carseat when his buckle is so hot but who can blame him.

Leo is a man of few words but the ones he has down are Daddy, Mama, Cheese and teeth. I am pretty sure he is going to grow up to be a dentist. He loves checking out people's mouth's and brushing his and everyone else's teeth!

He should have the cleanest teeth! He brushes them at least 3 time's a day!

Keeping cool with a bath!
