In one Ear out the Other

I keep telling Lily even though she loves our cats they do not know how to show her love back! Poor baby crawls after them hysterically laughing trying to grab their bellies for hugs and all she gets in return are scratches (most of the time I swoop her up before any harm is done)

"Lily...Lillian"

She listened to me today but can you blame her for wanting to hold Jenkins?
He is just asking for some cuddles!

The Darnedest Things

When Leo puckers up for a kiss lately and you lean in to give him one he has been turning his head quickly laughing "I tricked you!" In the spirit of the game I will get a pouty look and say I'm sad, He then asks "Mom, you sad? Go like this..." then he drops his lower lip to "show me" how to pout!

He is getting really good with knowing his shapes, he has started pointing them out all on his own! Telling me this is a triangle, this is a circle etc...

He  has an obsession with Buzz Lightyear right now, which is awesome if I end up doing a Toy Story party, but what is cute is Mike will start saying "To infinity..." and Leo shouts "AND BEYOND!" ridiculously cute.

When we drive home he always asking "where did my home go? where did it go" I will let him know we are looking for it "you are looking for it? Did you find it?" So when we drive down our street he starts getting super excited yelling "there is MY home, there it is!!" One day he even  shouted "There is my FUN home!"

Mike asked Leo what time is was the other night (Hinting that it was bed time) Leo just responded "It's time for munch!" (lunch) which is a line from Bubble Guppies...Mike was so confused since he never gets the pleasure of watching the oh so loved Bubble Guppies with him!

Passed out after a fun game of soccer.

He is going to make me cry looking so grown up!
We were just heading to Grandma's but you would think he was off to preschool.

True Love

Leo loves Jenkins but this is very rare to actually catch on camera! Jenkins usually doesn't like to cuddle with Leo and Leo usually is too busy roaring at the animals to sit with them but here is proof they can be sweet on one another!

Musical Session

We had some excellent musical entertainment earlier!

Priceless Leo

Last night I went to the store to grab Chinese for dinner (I was gone about 45 min) and when I opened the door Leo was filled with energy yelling "Mommy came back, Daddy! Mommy came back!" Like I wouldn't have!? He also sat down to the table to his chicken and rice wiggling with excitement "This is my favorite!!" The things he says right now are really very priceless.

Proving me right in his "everything/anything Roar's" phase.

Daily happenings consist of playing with Mr. Potato Head and finding out Lily's new hair ties are "ouchy on my head" I don't think he will be asking to put those in again...

Yesterday I spied him being super cute playing with Buzz and Woody in the window, after I snapped this picture he told me "wait Mama" then he preceded to place buzz in the window telling me "there that's better" I guess he wanted the camera to capture their beautiful faces.

Helping me out with my snapshot posing.
I also realize that Leo is in a big pajama phase right now...unless I threaten to leave the house without him I seriously cannot get him in day clothes right now. He loves his jammies!

This is what they look like waiting for Daddy to get home.

Trains, Trains, and MORE Trains

Leo got a train table for Christmas from Grandma and Grandpa, He has been playing with it pretty much nonstop since Christmas morning! Best.Gift.Ever.

He is very into taking care of all the "freight"

The one afternoon while Leo was napping Lily became baby Godzilla on the train table! No worries we put all back together before he woke up.

A Little Bit of Snow

Leo is still unsure about snow once it hits the ground (it's cold!) but as it is coming down he loves to run in it and roar! at the snow while trying to eat it.

My Kids Make Me Smile

Before bed this evening I was laying with Leo, he was laying in bed with very sweet smiles asking for his blanket as he said that he loved Lily, Daddy and "you too" speaking to me. precious moments

As he goes to sleep at night he also pretends to snore as soon as he lays down, trying to be more convincing that he is sleepy? Maybe.

Last month while I was in New York Mike had Leo watch The Land Before Time, Leo fell in love, I also have a bragging mom moment: In that movie they refer to themselves as Long necks, three horns or sharp tooth. Leo was calling them by their correct dinosaur name! He knew sharp tooth was a T-rex and that Cera is a Triceratops! The others he didn't know but I as impressed by the two he did! A funny thing he adopted from watching the movie is answering us like ducky does, by repeating.  If we asked him if he wants something it is usually answered like "yes, I do...I do!"

Leo could "roar" at anyone and everyone, all day. Poor Brenden has been traumatized. ;)

Speaking of Brenden...his birthday party was last weekend and we had some classic Leo moments at the party!

Being a silly brother.

Brenden got a Thomas pillow pal for his birthday(identical to Leo's) and when Leo realized it wasn't for him he dropped to floor crying! dramatic
Lily has been VERY talkative lately! Chitter-chatter non-stop...now I just wish I knew whats she was saying ;)
Waiting patiently for Her toy back .

Yelling Playing away

Leo gave me a huge scare the other afternoon, he fell asleep playing in his room but he buried himself under all these pillows! I couldn't find him for close to five minutes.

When Lily wakes up from her naps Leo still shouts "good morning Lily!" or "Hi baby girl!"  He doesn't get the chance to say those things in the actual morning because Lily is an EARLY BIRD her eyes pop open right at 8am no exceptions and she starts the day by waving and yelling HI! Leo is more like his parents and likes sleeping until 930 or 10, Bless Him!

Leo has started telling me what kind of birthday he wants, it changes every day but so far we have talked about Avengers, Monsters, and of course the beloved Thomas.

P.S I typed all this one-handed with Leo in my lap because he is being super clingy while Mike and Lily take a nap, so this post might seem a little scatter-brained.

I will leave you with this photo, Leo tucked in Lily's doll to bed all on his own the other evening.
