Hi this is Lily here, I thought I would fill you in on me since I am almost 21 months old this next week! As you know I love to start out my days right at 8:05 usually right after I hear Daddy shut the door on his way out to work. Most days I wake up laughing and chatting to myself but then other mornings I can be a real crank until Mommy gives me my cup of milk.
Leo, my big brother, has taught me to big on trains and cars and I love to take them out of his hand and try to join in on the fun! My Mom always thinks she needs to help out my giving me dolls and other girly toys to distract me but I'm not so much into those just yet.
I love morning snack time, my favorite is key lime yogurt and I tell Mom "num num num" while she feeds it to me (that way she knows I like it).
I have my own language still and Leo tries to relay what I am saying but only I know what I am saying! My favorite words to say to Mom and Dad are "go-dee go-dee go-dee" Mommy always laughs when I say "whoooo dat" and Leo is always telling me I say "Dora" when I am obviously just saying "gora". I still flare out my hand at things asking "wutz hiss" I also love giving high fives and clapping saying "yey" when I do something really cool.
Our kittys always make me laugh and I try to pet them but for some reason they always just run away!
I am crawling up stairs now and Daddy keeps trying to teach me to go "back-back" down them. He also does what he also calls "walking practice", He is silly, I am avoiding that at all costs, doesn't he know I am a really speedy crawler?
Nap time is at lunch with Daddy, he comes home and we cuddle while I tell him all about my morning adventures with Mommy and Leo until I snooze off.
I have formed what Mom says is a "bad-habit" of banging my head when I am a little sleepy or need to mess in my diaper but I think it's fun so I will keep doing it.
In the afternoon Leo and I play while watching movies and I love watching him play with Buzz and Woody, he is so funny when he makes buzz fly!
When we go to the store I love to ride in the cart across the parking lot, the bumps make me laugh and giggle.
I wish mom would make spaghetti or chicken and rice for dinner every night, those make my belly feel so good. Mom is silly sometimes and mixes veggies in my dinner thinking I don't know but I just pick them out and feed them to June, hahaha!
Life is good. I sleep like 12 hours every night and nap during the day. Mom still does everything for me and I love her so much. Daddy doesn't realize it but I am in my beginning stages of having him wrapped around my little finger and Mom always tells me how cute he is with me. Leo called me his "bef fran" yesterday and Mom started smiling and hugging both of us so that must be a good thing? I think I will go take my nap now, this wore me out!
