So time to recap my kids lives for the past two months since I have seem to forgot to write on this blog. The nice weather has defiantly kept us outdoors the past month or so and we are really enjoying this mild heat instead of the 100 degree summer weather Leo has known his entire little life.
Last week I took them to the zoo (for the first time by myself!!) and it was actually very pleasant, we went early in the morning when the animals are friendly (and hungry) so the kids were able to see a lot of them up close which is always fun!

First Outdoor Swim 2013
Saturday while Mike and Leo took a much needed nap I decided to take Leo swimming so that I could see if I could handle taking both kids swimming on my own this summer. WELL oh my I am glad we did that without Lily! The boy has no fear! He went straight for the 4 foot deep and was about to jump in !!! We had to talk about what areas of the pool were off limits and once that was settled he was better, but still very excited, I can't blame him the pool is an awesome place but I for sure will need company when going to the pool or poor Lily will be stuck sitting on her towel alone because I will be chasing Leo around saving his life from drowning.
When you asked him about swimming he would say that him and his boat had so much fun.
Dinosaur Exhibit
Exploration place opened a dinosaur exhibit last week that we took the boys to. I thought they would be so excited to see "real " dinosaurs but exploration place did such a good job on presentation that the boys were TERRIFIED, Leo really thought they all were real and that they were going to gobble him up for lunch, eventually they realized that it was all for show and they had fun playing with fossils and looking at all the different kinds of dinosaurs.
