Playroom

A clean playroom makes me happy!  When it gets destroyed this afternoon I will look back on the pictures and I know what it once was. 

Things I want to add to this room are a chalkboard above the coloring station, a dress up place for all their costumes. I printed organize labels for all their toys last week I just need to laminate them and get them on the cubed bins! 

I tried to take a shower...

I usually take my shower first thing in the morning while they are watching a cartoon but  the time kind of got away from me so I ended up taking one right after Lunch, well Leo was super ornery and  I was silly thinking he was playing in his room while I was in shower but when I got out I knew it was too quiet for that to be true!

Lily is in a stage right now where when I take a shower she is always RIGHT there by the tub, I try to keep the water away from her but she always ends up like this, soaked!

As I was cleaning up the mess I turned around to  see little monkey boy doing this! He needed a band-aide or so he thought.

No more afternoon shower breaks for this Mama.

Uncle Steve is Old...

I mean he turned 30 this past weekend! 

So we got him what he likes best, energy drinks and gum! ( I know, I splurged)

Leo made him is very own card which I helped him write out "Happy birthday Steve " with his name written twice!

Leo is still very interested in the bird eggs that are hanging on our porch, I have to tell him daily how he can't eat them and that are baby birds inside. What can I say? he loves eggs for breakfast so he is very confused,  I can't wait for them to hatch.

Past Times

Mike is having a boys night tonight in McPherson and Leo is having a sleepover with Brenden, so Lily and I had dinner out at my moms which wore her out! Right now she is snoozing away (which I should be too) BUT my new favorite thing to do right now is look at pre-digital photos of mine ( I know, I can't believe I ever used film either) but here are few that I uploaded to my phone as I was reminiscing of past much free-spirited days...

When I was cleaning up after bedtime it was hard putting these trains away since Leo left them so nearly!

This Happened Today

Yup, the entire box of cheerios! I walked out of the room to get Leo out of bed and Lily found the box and emptied it all on her own! She was on cloud 9 surrounded by all her cereal. 

A few weeks ago our cousin Sharon stumbled upon this dinosaur picture saying "RAWR is I love you in dinosaur" and in no time my Grandad had made Leo a shirt! He is in love. Look at the pride.

The entire day the house seemed to be surrounded by storm clouds but it just now started about an hour ago, Leo has been learning all about the different weather clouds so all day he was running around "Oh no what we going to do!?" then when the actual storm started he didn't seem scared at all! 

Leo became a photographer for a little bit, he wanted to take a picture with me and his dinosaur. He did an excellent job.

Finally I was able to edit these! I still need to take a few sibling photos of Leo and Lily but with the help of my cousins we were able to take family photos yesterday.
