Salad

Leo just came into the kitchen while I was making Lily's snack and asked me if her could have a salad! Healthy little boy he is! I made him one up and now he is eating it while watching Thomas, too cute!

Too Cool

We left the house to go swimming the other day and after that Leo was spending the night at Grandma's so he had his Thomas bag all ready to go, he put it on like a big boy going to school and started to walk off the porch in which he quickly took it back off saying "it too heavy" so he went back to his comfort of rolling it.

Another habit of Leo's as of late is he likes getting his diaper put on while he's standing up, where does he come up with this stuff!? He still thinks that tater tots are chicken nuggets so that's an easy way to save on meat prices. He still gets plenty of real chicken don't you worry!

A Day in the Life of...

Lily is having a HUGE appetite lately the day usually goes something like this

7:30 Bottle (she is very energetic at this time!)

Good morning!

9:00 Banana's (usually an entire one now!)

So happy to be eating real food! 

I try to give her a sippy cup all the time but the girl loves her bottles!

Being silly!

 10:30 bottle along with bowl of applesauce or cottage cheese
11-1 nap
 1ish she has a big 8 oz bottle
1-3 Her big play time! She is the most active in these two hours!

5:00 Bottle with a veggie (usually carrots or peas)
8:00 Bottle with applesauce

8:30 Bedtime!

She still sometimes wakes up sometime between 3-5 but since she has been eating so much she doesn't so much have a bottle anymore she usually falls back asleep with in a few minutes of you holding her. Spoiled!

My Children:My Life

God has given me the two sweetest babies a mom could ask for! This summer has been filled with HOT days that have left us inside to entertain ourselves and make the best of it!

Leo is such a little man now, no baby in him at all! He is very much into watching movies(favorite is "Cars" for sure), his favorite color is Green and he is talking up a storm. His full length sentences astound me! He is still in the habit of calling me "hoddie" but when he is tired he says "mommy" and at night he is so cute when he tells us "I'm so tired" and lays down in bed to read his dinosaur books. He gives us kisses and says "I love you" which is absolutely precious! He loves reading his books about a million times before actually falling asleep and when I am "done" reading through it he quietly says "do again".

Leo also loves playing with his stroller, He pushes it around outside along the sidewalk taking breaks to draw something with his sidewalk chalk! He is a busy boy.

Lily is also busy learning new words and phrases, her newest is "no, no, no" which is really cute to hear. She is so close to becoming mobile but we are in no rush since Leo keeps us on our toes already! Her hair is starting to curl in back and we have switched to Cows milk full time since her birthday is just around the corner. She is also very animated with Leo they really do have their own special language between one another and it is is so wonderful to see them interact. I have been truly blessed that I have seen no phases of jealousy between the two (yet)

Every day is exciting and I could write a book on all they do so be patient with me while I try to capture all their memories :)

New Car Seat!

Yesterday Lily received her big girl carseat! (of course it is pink) and Leo had to help out...She is still rear facing because of the new guidelines but I know she will be much happier sitting straighter and being able to see out the window :)

Crazy Kids

Whew! What a Month! I don't even know where to start...Lily is changing so much, she has a huge appetite these days chowing down on banana's, carrots and her still favorite strawberry applesauce! She has found the great taste of cheerios but hasn't mastered her chewing skills quite yet so we still have to break them apart for her (spoiled!) 

Nom Nom Nom!

My absolute favorite thing to hear right now is Leo singing the ENTIRE Abc's to Lily. I have no clue what age kids learn the alphabet but I'm blown away he sings it all by himself from A to Z

Sibling Love

As much as I love my son this summer has been a challenge! He has hit his terrible two's and sometimes you just have to throw your hands up in the air and walk away (but not for two long or else he will surprise us all with what happens next) He isn't necessarily acting badly just very stubborn *cough* very Daddy Like *cough* and things go in one ear and out the other for sure! I know it's a process and He will eventually grow out of and be the sweet little boy that I see for about 30 % of the day. He keeps me on my toes whether he's climbing in the kitchen cabinets or peeing on the carpet  I honestly do love his personality and I know he will be the life of the party when he is older!

Our Little Stinker!

Lily's is growing, growing and growing! I sat her down on the couch while I went to make her a snack and came back with in two minutes to find her passed out!! It's exhausting being a little girl.

BTW Lily's birthday is in 3 weeks!!! I can't believe it either!

Last week Leo watched "Cars" for the first time and he fell in love! He has literally watched it everyday since, at least we have moved past Thomas...for now anyway :P
